Indian cuisine is truly magical - the most usual ingredients turn into something unrecognizable, yet so yummy! Cook this Indian style cauliflower and potatoes and you will not resist this fantastic flavor!
Ingredients
- cauliflower: 500 g
- potato: 5 piece
- onion: 2 piece
- garlic: 6 clove
- tomatoes: 5 piece
- ginger: 1 piece (root, around 2.5 cm long)
- chili pepper: 1 piece
- cilantro: 1 bunch
- oil: 5 Tbsp
- turmeric: 1.5 tsp
- coriander seeds: 1.5 tsp (ground)
- salt: 1 tsp

Wash the cauliflower and divide it into florets. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes.

Then, peel the onion and garlic, chop them finely. Peel the ginger root, cut into thin strips. Rinse chili pepper, remove the seeds and ribs, cut into thin rings. Wash the cilantro and chop it as well.

Boil some water in a deep pot and put the tomatoes inside for about 30 seconds. Then put them into cold water, peel and cut into small cubes.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over low heat. Then add potato, cauliflower, and sauté the ingredients for about 20 minutes, stirring from time to time.

Right after that, take a large frying pan and heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion, garlic, cumin and ginger together for about 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, turmeric, coriander, chili pepper and cook for 2 more minutes.

The next step is adding the potato, cauliflower and cilantro. Season with salt, cover with the lid and cook covered for about 5 minutes. Enjoy this simple Indian dish with your loved ones!
