Nothing tastes better than tequila and jalapeno; the cucumber adds a freshness that helps to mute the jalapeno's bite. The longer it chills, the more jalapeno and cucumber infuses into the tequila. Serve over ice in a salt-rimmed glass, garnished with cucumber slices.

Ingredients

  • tequila: 0.5 cup (to taste)
  • lime juice: 0.5 cup (fresh)
  • orange liqueur: 0.25 cup
  • simple syrup: 0.25 cup
  • jalapeno pepper, halved and: 1 piece (seeded)
  • thin slices cucumber: 4 piece (to taste)
  • wedges lime: 4 piece
  • kosher salt: 2 Tbsp (or as needed)
  • ice, as needed:
  • slices cucumber: 4 piece
