This kale salad with pear and a simple shake-together sesame-ginger dressing is the perfect partner for your favorite cold-weather mains.
Ingredients
- canola oil: 0.25 cup
- seasoned rice vinegar: 3 Tbsp
- sesame oil: 1 Tbsp (toasted)
- less-sodium tamari or soy sauce: 2 tsp
- garlic: 2 clove (minced)
- fresh ginger: 1 tsp (grated)
- kale: 8 cups (chopped)
- sesame seeds: 2 Tbsp (toasted)
- pear: 1 cup (sliced)

Shake together canola oil, vinegar, toasted sesame oil, tamari, garlic, and ginger in a canning jar for the dressing.
