This maple tofu is a vegetarian alternative to ham that's great for holidays like Easter and Christmas.
Ingredients
- maple syrup: 0.5 cup
- pineapple juice: 0.5 cup
- brown mustard: 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce: 1 tsp (optional)
- olive oil: 1 Tbsp
- firm tofu, drained and: 1 container (8 ounce container, cubed)
- sesame seeds: 1 tsp (optional)

Whisk together maple syrup, pineapple juice, mustard, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir tofu in hot oil until evenly browned. Stir in maple syrup mixture and continue to cook until glaze is reduced. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
