In this recipe, you will find out how to cook delicious and cute mini butter tarts with Canadian maple syrup. The dish is easy to cook and very delicious and fast to eat! Your loved ones will be pleased with such a fantastic dessert!
Ingredients
- maple syrup: 0.5 cup
- brown sugar: 0.5 cup
- unsalted butter: 0.25 cup
- egg: 1 piece (large)
- vanilla essence: 2 tsp
- sea salt: 1 pinch
- puff pastry dough: 300 g

Mix 0.5 cup of brown sugar and 0.25 cup of butter.

Add 2 tablespoons of vanilla, salt, one egg and 0.5 cup of maple syrup.

Whip the mass until it becomes smooth.

Spread the dough into molds. Add raisins or pecan pieces inside your tart shells first.

Then pour the maple filling. Don't pour more than half of a tart as the filling will bubble over.

Bake in the pre-heated to 187 C (375 F) oven for about 12-15 minutes until light golden crust appears. Cool for about 10 minutes and serve warm with tea, coffee or cocoa! Enjoy the dessert!
