- chuck roast: 1 piece (3 pound)
- pepperoncini: 0.5 jar (12 ounce jar)
- pepperoncini juice: 0.5 jar (12 ounce jar)
- unsalted butter: 0.5 cup
- packet au jus gravy mix: 1 piece (1 ounce)
- (0.4 oz) package buttermilk ranch dressing mix: 1 piece
- salt and ground black pepper: (to taste)
