Mushroom appetizers are versatile and there are many of them you can find on the web nowadays. This recipe is very simple and will not take much of your time. The list of ingredients, though, is quite long, but these products are very affordable, so, it will not be a problem for you to find them. So, let’s get started!
Ingredients
- egg: 5 piece
- wheat flour: 100 g
- milk: 1 cup
- onion: 1 piece
- garlic: 1 clove
- champignons: 500 g
- tomatoes: 2 piece
- cottage cheese: 200 g
- hard cheese: 100 g (grated)
- fennel: 0.5 bunch
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- black pepper: 1 pinch

Mix eggs (leave one egg yolk to add it to the cottage cheese later), milk, flour and salt. Whip the products and cook the batter.

Fry omelet pancakes and don\'t be afraid if their ends curve a bit. That’s normal while frying and won’t affect the result! This amount of ingredients is enough to cook 5 pancakes.

Peel and chop onion and garlic. Fry them on oil. Then peel and chop champignons and add them to onion and garlic. Add salt and black pepper.

Mix cottage cheese with an egg yolk.

Add chopped fennel to the cottage cheese and add more pepper.

Take a pancake and cover it with a layer of mushroom topping. Repeat the step with all the pancakes you have cooked.

Now, roll the pancakes.

Put the rolls into a baking pan, cover them with cottage cheese and then put the circles of tomatoes above.

Dredge with grated hard cheese.

Bake in the oven at 180 C (356 F) until the cheese melts. Cut into halves and serve! Enjoy the appetizer!
