This New York cheesecake recipe with sour cream is foolproof, easy, and super delicious.
Ingredients
- ½ cups graham cracker crumbs: 1 piece
- butter: 0.33333 cup (melted)
- white sugar: 0.25 cup
- cream cheese, room temperature: 3 packages (8 ounce packages)
- white sugar: 1 cup
- eggs, room temperature: 4 piece
- vanilla extract: 1 Tbsp
- cream of tartar: 1 tsp
- pint sour cream: 1 piece
- white sugar: 0.5 cup
- vanilla extract: 1 tsp

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Make crust: Mix together graham crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a medium bowl until evenly moistened. Press into the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.

Make cheesecake: Mix together cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Blend in eggs, vanilla, and cream of tartar. Pour over crust in the pan.
