- milk: 0.75 cup
- margarine: 0.25 cup (softened)
- ¼ cups all-purpose flour: 3 piece
- white sugar: 0.25 cup
- instant yeast: 1 pack (.25 ounce pack)
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- water: 0.25 cup
- egg: 1 piece
- brown sugar, packed: 1 cup
- margarine: 0.5 cup (softened)
- ground cinnamon: 1 Tbsp
- raisins: 0.5 cup (optional)

Heat milk in a small saucepan until just hot to touch or a few bubbles form around the edge. Remove from heat and stir in margarine until melted; set aside.
