This is a two-crust baked strawberry pie recipe with a thick juice. Any fresh berries can be substituted.

Ingredients

  • unbaked pie crusts: 2 piece (9 inch)
  • ¼ cups white sugar: 1 piece
  • all-purpose flour: 0.33333 cup
  • ground cinnamon: 0.5 tsp
  • strawberries: 4 cups (fresh)
  • butter: 2 Tbsp (cut into pieces)

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place 1 crust in the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.

  2. Combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix lightly through strawberries.

  3. Pour filling into the pastry-lined pan and dot with butter pieces. Cover with top crust and cut slits in the top to vent. Seal and flute the edges.
