Apple pie is one of the most known pie recipes. We suggest you to prepare it's polish version - this pie is very easy to cook and you even don't need to knead the dough, use only dry mixture of flour, sugar and semolina. The pie is very juicy and tasty.
Ingredients
- almond flakes: 1 Tbsp
- butter: 150 g
- apple: 1 kg
- baking powder: 2 Tbsp
- vanilla sugar: 1 tsp
- cinnamon: 1 tsp
- semolina: 1 cup
- sugar: 1 cup
- flour: 1 cup

First mix in a bowl flour (sifted), baking powder, cinnamon, semolina, vanilla sugar and sugar. Stir well.

Peel and grate apples. Part grated apples into two parts.

Part dry mixture into three equal parts. Spread baking paper all over the baking form. Now spread the layer of dry mixture, then apples, again dry mixture and apples. Do it in a way that the last layer must be dry mixture.

Grate butter and sprinkle it over the pie. The butter must be cold and solid.

Sprinkle almond flakes over the pie and bake in a pre-heated to 180C (360F) degrees oven for 40 minutes. Cool it for 15 minutes and then serve. Enjoy!
