These almond flour pancakes are a wonderful substitute for regular pancakes when watching your carbs! They are very filling and are on the dense side. This is a basic recipe that can be tweaked. Any sweetener can be substituted for maple syrup. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- almond flour: 1 cup
- water: 0.25 cup
- eggs: 2 piece
- maple syrup: 1 Tbsp
- salt: 0.25 tsp
- oil: 1 tsp (or as needed)

Whisk together almond flour, water, eggs, maple syrup, and salt in a large bowl until smooth.

Heat oil on a griddle over medium heat.

Drop batter by large spoonfuls onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form and edges are dry, 3 to 5 minutes. Flip and cook until bottoms are browned, 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter. My Hot Southern Mess
