After failing to find the perfect recipe for buttercream frosting, I found one that worked for me and then added my own two cents.

Ingredients

  • unsalted butter, at room temperature: 0.5 cup
  • confectioners' sugar, sifted: 2 cups
  • ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract: 1 piece
  • milk: 2 Tbsp
  • drops food coloring: 3 piece (or as needed, optional)
