A chicken noodle soup recipe that's a very easy, very good substitute for when you don't have time to make your soup totally from scratch.
Ingredients
- butter: 1 Tbsp
- onion: 0.5 cup (chopped)
- celery: 0.5 cup (chopped)
- chicken broth: 4 cans (14.5 ounce cans)
- vegetable broth: 1 can (14.5 ounce can)
- cooked chicken breast: 0.5 pound (chopped)
- ½ cups egg noodles: 1 piece
- carrots: 1 cup (sliced)
- basil: 0.5 tsp (dried)
- oregano: 0.5 tsp (dried)
- salt and ground black pepper: (to taste)

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and celery and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes.
