Just have a look at this fantastic and unusual salad and you won’t be able to pass by it! The idea to serve the dish on the beetroot jelly is so fresh and remarkable that the salad will surely become the highlight of your festive table!


  • beetroot juice : 150 ml (fresh)
  • garlic : 1 clove
  • salt : 1 pinch
  • black pepper : 1 pinch
  • mussels : 100 g
  • tiger shrimps : 2 piece
  • black caviar : 3 tsp
  • soft-boiled egg : 1 piece
  • olive oil : 1 Tbsp
  • soy sauce : 1 tsp
  • onion : 0.5 piece (small)
  • lettuce : 2 piece
  • gelatin : 2 tsp

Stages of cooking

  1. To cook fresh beetroot juice, cut the vegetable and blend it with one clove of garlic.

  2. Strain the juice and dissolve jelatin in it.

  3. Pour the juice into a special container and remove into the fridge until it jellifies.

  4. As soon as the jelly is ready, put it on the serving dish. Put onion circles above.

  5. Then add boiled mussels, shrimps and lettuce.

  6. Cut the soft-boiled egg into two parts and decorate the serving dish on both sides. Spoon the caviar on each piece of egg. That’s it! Your unusual salad is now ready! It does not need any sauce, because the beetroot jelly will be used for this purpose. Just add a few drops of olive oil and soy sauce. This will be enough to give the salad peculiar taste!
