This seafood salad with ruccola belongs to the Italian cuisine, which is primarily manifested in the choice of ingredients. The salad is so easy to cook that it will not take you longer than twenty minutes. This is an ideal recipe for the romantic dinner with your loved one!


  • arugula : 1 bunch
  • white dry wine : 100 ml
  • olive oil : 4 Tbsp
  • lemon : 1 piece
  • salt : 1 pinch
  • black pepper : 1 pinch
  • Italian herbs : 0.5 tsp
  • bay leaf : 1 piece
  • shrimp : 300 g (frozen)

  1. Take a pot, pour wine and add one bay leaf. Wait until the wine boils.

  2. Defreeze the shrimps, peel them and boil in a separate pot.

  3. Take the wine off the fire and add shrimps. Do not boil the shrimps in the wine. Otherwise, they may become too rough.

  4. Let the shrimps soak in wine for 10 minutes and strain them afterwards.

  5. Now, let’s cook the dressing for the salad. Mix lemon juice, olive oil and salt.

  6. Wash and dry the ruccola. Put on the serving dish and place the marinated shrimps with lemon slices above.
