Stages of cooking
-
Take a large pot, add salt and boil the water. Meanwhile, take another deep pot with thick bottom and melt butter in it. Add the onion and sauté for about 5-7 minutes. Then reduce the fire and add red pepper flakes, garlic and keep cooking for about one minute more.
-
Now, add crushed tomatoes, vodka (or any other alcoholic beverage you like), lemon zest and cream. Simmer the ingredients.
-
As soon as the sauce starts simmering, add pasta to the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes.
-
Taste the pasta and add more salt if needed. Taste the sauce and add raw and deveined shrimps to it. Cook for about 5 minutes more and remove the pot from heat.
-
Strain the pasta and serve it with the sauce! Sprinkle with parsley and ground black pepper! Enjoy!
