This chili pot pie is simple and inexpensive to make, and my children gobble it up. The recipe is so easy, even my 9-year-old can make it! Just pour, mix, and bake.
Ingredients
- cornbread mix (such as Jiffy®): 1 pack (8.5 ounce pack)
- milk: 0.33333 cup
- egg: 1 piece
- turkey chili with beans, undrained: 2 cans (15 ounce cans)
- cheddar cheese: 2 Tbsp (or as desired, shredded, optional)
- sour cream: 1 Tbsp (to taste, optional)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Whisk together cornbread mix, milk, and egg in a bowl until slightly lumpy.

Pour turkey chili with beans into a 9-inch pie dish. Spoon cornbread batter over top.
