This chili pot pie is simple and inexpensive to make, and my children gobble it up. The recipe is so easy, even my 9-year-old can make it! Just pour, mix, and bake.

Ingredients

  • cornbread mix (such as Jiffy®): 1 pack (8.5 ounce pack)
  • milk: 0.33333 cup
  • egg: 1 piece
  • turkey chili with beans, undrained: 2 cans (15 ounce cans)
  • cheddar cheese: 2 Tbsp (or as desired, shredded, optional)
  • sour cream: 1 Tbsp (to taste, optional)
