Ingredients
- ½ cups water: 3 piece
- dash salt: 1 piece
- steel-cut oats: 1 cup
- milk: 0.5 cup
- cashews: 0.5 cup
- sweetened dried cranberries (such as Ocean Spray® Craisins®): 0.25 cup
- flaked coconut: 2 Tbsp
- vanilla extract: 1 tsp
- ground cinnamon: 1 tsp
- pinch white sugar: 1 piece (to taste, optional)

Bring water and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Stir oats into boiling water; cook oats until thick and soft, 20 to 30 minutes.
