This Parmesan-style chicken bake is done casserole style (so, no breading or frying!), but still offers up that irresistible combination of tender chicken, crunchy-cheesy coating, and flavorful sauce.
Ingredients
- olive oil: 2 Tbsp
- garlic, crushed and: 2 clove (chopped)
- red pepper flakes: 0.25 tsp (to taste, crushed)
- skinless, boneless chicken breast halves: 6 piece
- prepared marinara sauce: 2 cups
- fresh basil: 0.25 cup (chopped)
- mozzarella cheese: 1 pack (8 ounce pack, divided, shredded)
- Parmesan cheese: 0.5 cup (divided, grated)
- garlic croutons: 1 pack (5 ounce pack)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bake in the preheated oven until cheese and croutons are golden brown and the chicken is no longer pink inside, about 35 minutes to an hour, depending on the shape and thickness of your chicken breasts.
