A great tofu taco recipe for a meatless meal.
Ingredients
- garden herb tofu, crumbled: 1 pack (16 ounce pack)
- vegetable oil: 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic: 1 piece (minced)
- onion: 0.5 cup (chopped)
- chili powder: 2 tsp
- paprika: 0.25 tsp
- cayenne pepper: 0.25 tsp
- ground cumin: 0.25 tsp
- salt: 0.25 tsp
- lime: 0.5 piece (juiced)
- tomato sauce: 0.5 cup
- fresh cilantro: 0.25 cup (chopped)
- medium taco shells: 8 piece (heated)
- lettuce: 2 cups (shredded)
- tomatoes: 2 piece (chopped)
- avocado: 1 piece (diced)
- cheddar cheese: 1 cup (shredded)
- salsa: 0.25 cup

Cook tofu, oil, garlic, and onion in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add chili powder, paprika, cayenne, cumin, salt, lime juice, and tomato sauce to the skillet and stir. Cook for 3 minutes.

Stir in cilantro. Spoon mixture into a bowl.

Spoon tofu mixture into taco shells. Top the mixture with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cheese, and salsa.
