This is the ultimate spinach dip! It is made from fresh spinach leaves and spring onions. I'm always asked to bring this along to major family events and, of course, during the holidays. It may be served at once, but tastes best when chilled for an hour. Serve with slices of sourdough baguettes.
Ingredients
- bunch fresh spinach: 1 piece (stems removed, torn into small pieces)
- bunch green onions: 1 piece
- water chestnuts, drained and: 1 can (8 ounce can, sliced)
- sour cream: 1 container (8 ounce container)
- ½ cups mayonnaise: 2 piece
- packet dry vegetable soup mix: 1 piece (.4 ounce)
- dry onion soup mix: 0.5 pack (1 ounce pack, optional)
