Stages of cooking
-
To cook the beverage, you may use fresh or frozen berries. If you use frozen cranberries, then defreeze them at room temperature for about 30-40 minutes before cooking the morse.
-
Place the berries into a sieve over a deep pot. Press them well against the sieve using a spoon until all the liquid is in the pan.
-
Add 6 cups of water through the sieve with leftovers and press them once again to get the most juice from your cranberries.
-
Now, add 4-5 tablespoons of agave or maple syrup into a pan. Traditionally, morse was cooked with honey, but the vegan version is made without it.
-
Mix the beverage well and pour into glasses. Enjoy this healthy and revitalizing drink!
