If someone offers you to taste celery soup, what will your reaction be? Let’s face it! You will hardly have the desire to taste it, because not all people like celery. This vegetarian celery soup, though, is an exception, and its taste will certainly be a surprise for you and your family.
Ingredients
- lentil: 100 g
- celery stalk: 1 piece
- potato: 3 piece (medium-sized)
- carrot: 1 piece
- onion: 1 piece
- oil: 3 Tbsp
- soy sauce: 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice: 0.5 Tbsp
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- powdered garlic: 0.5 tsp
- black pepper: 1 pinch

Wash the lentils, pour 2 liters of water and boil it on fire for about 20 minutes after the water boils. While the lentils is being cooked, peel and cut the potatoes into large cubes.

Peel the carrot and onion. Chop the onion and grate the carrot.

Chop the celery.

Fry all the vegetables on oil. Start with the onion. Fry it until it becomes transparent. Then add carrots and celery. Fry the potato cubes on another frying pan.

Add the vegetables to the lentils. Then dress with salt, black pepper, dry powdered garlic, soy sauce and lemon juice.

Boil the soup for about 15-20 minutes until the potatoes and lentils are ready. Bon appétit!
