This is a simple recipe of a simple pea soup, it is rather substantial. You\'ll need some time to cook it, because of the peas, still if you like it, you will make it.

Ingredients

  • oregano : 1 pinch
  • black pepper : 1 pinch
  • thyme : 1 tsp
  • water : 3.8 litre
  • soy sauce : 2 Tbsp
  • bay leaf : 2 piece
  • garlic : 3 clove
  • olive oil : 60 ml
  • potato : 5 piece
  • carrots : 5 piece
  • onion : 2 piece
  • peas : 900 g

Stages of cooking

  1. In a pan little heat olive oil, peel and chop onion, throw into the pan. Peel and cut garlic, add to the onion, also salt, pepper and oregano.

  2. Fry during 10-15 minutes until onion is soft.

  3. Peel carrots and potatoes, cube and throw into the pan. Add also peas but only 650 g (the rest rinse in the water), mix well.

  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cook covered during 40 minutes on a law heat.

  5. In 40 minutes add the rest of the peas.

  6. Cook during 40 minutes, stirring time after time.
