This is a simple recipe of a simple pea soup, it is rather substantial. You\'ll need some time to cook it, because of the peas, still if you like it, you will make it.
- oregano : 1 pinch
- black pepper : 1 pinch
- thyme : 1 tsp
- water : 3.8 litre
- soy sauce : 2 Tbsp
- bay leaf : 2 piece
- garlic : 3 clove
- olive oil : 60 ml
- potato : 5 piece
- carrots : 5 piece
- onion : 2 piece
- peas : 900 g
Stages of cooking
In a pan little heat olive oil, peel and chop onion, throw into the pan. Peel and cut garlic, add to the onion, also salt, pepper and oregano.
Fry during 10-15 minutes until onion is soft.
Peel carrots and potatoes, cube and throw into the pan. Add also peas but only 650 g (the rest rinse in the water), mix well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cook covered during 40 minutes on a law heat.
In 40 minutes add the rest of the peas.
Cook during 40 minutes, stirring time after time.
Then taste and add more salt if required.
