- butter: 270 g
- dates: 50 g
- sugar: 470 g
- egg: 4 piece
- vanilla essence: 5 tsp
- flour: 200 g
- baking powder: 2 tsp
- water: 500 ml
- salt: 1 pinch
- cream: 300 ml

Chop the dates into equal small pieces.

Take a deep pot, pour water in it and add chopped dates. Boil the water on medium fire and wait until the dates become softer.

While the water is boiling, mix 120 g of butter and 320 g of sugar in a separate bowl.

Blend the ingredients well, add 4 eggs and sifted flour.

Mix the ingredients well once again.

Take the dates off the heat. Add 2 teaspoons of baking powder into hot water and stir the ingredients well.

Now, mix all the ingredients you have prepared in one bowl and hand mix them to get a smooth mass.

Take a baking pan, butter it and pour the batter inside.

Bake at 190 C (374 F) for about 25-30 minutes.

Now that the pudding is ready, it is high time to cook Toffee Sauce! Add 150 g of sugar and 150 g of butter to the frying pan and heat the ingredients on small fire, while stirring them.

Add the cream and wait until the sauce starts boiling. Simmer it a bit and keep stirring until it is ready. Pour the toffee sauce over the pudding, add cream on the top and serve! Bon appétit!
