Baby corn golden fry is an Indian dish, which tastes and looks superb. It is a perfect snack you can cook for dinner or breakfast. It takes around 10 minutes only to cook it, which is a benefit in itself. Baby corn golden fry taste great with green chutney and tomato chili sauce.

Ingredients

  • baby corn : 10 piece
  • ginger : 1 piece (small)
  • garlic : 4 clove
  • green chilies : 1 piece
  • mint leaves : 2 piece
  • coriander leaves : 2 piece
  • salt : 1 pinch (to your taste)
  • olive oil : 2 cup (for deep frying)
  • water : 0.5 cup (as needed)
  • gram flour : 0.25 cup
  • rice flour : 1 Tbsp
  • corn flour : 2 Tbsp

Stages of cooking

  1. Wash and boil baby corn with salt. 

  2. Take a mixer and grind ginger, garlic, green chili, mint, coriander leaves and salt in it. Add water and mix one more time.

  3. Take a bowl then, mix boiled baby corn and ground mint mixture in it. Leave for about 10 minutes to marinate.

  4. Take another bowl and mix gram flour, corn flour, rice flour, salt, ground mint mixture and water in it. Make the batter.

  5. Submerge the marinated baby corn in the batter and deep fry them on medium heat.

     

  6. As soon as the baby corn is ready, drain it on the paper towel and serve hot with green chutney, tomato sauce or schezwan sauce. Enjoy!
