Try these baked chicken burgers in the oven as an alternative to hamburgers! Added mushrooms and onions give great texture to these burgers, with a little amped-up flavor as well. With buns and traditional burger fixings, or with your own twist, put a little something different on the table tonight.

Ingredients

  • avocado oil: 1 Tbsp (divided)
  • fresh mushrooms: 0.5 cup (sliced)
  • fresh spinach: 0.5 cup (chopped)
  • onion: 0.25 cup (chopped)
  • clove garlic: 1 piece
  • ground chicken breast: 1 pound
  • chicken soup base (such as Better than Bouillon® Roasted Chicken Base): 2 tsp
  • salt and ground black pepper: (to taste)
  • sandwich buns: 5 piece
