These easy and super flavorful green beans are smothered in blackening seasoning made from a base of paprika, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and cayenne pepper.

Ingredients

  • extra-virgin olive oil: 4 Tbsp (divided)
  • smoked paprika: 1 tsp
  • dried oregano: 0.5 tsp
  • garlic powder: 0.5 tsp
  • freshly ground black pepper: 0.5 tsp
  • salt: 0.25 tsp
  • dried basil: 0.25 tsp
  • cayenne pepper: 0.125 tsp
  • green beans: 1 pound (trimmed)
