This is an interesting combination of ingredients, but it's delicious! I make it for every BBQ and at the end of the night I'm writing down the recipe for everyone! Try it, you'll definitely like it!
Ingredients
- broccoli florets: 8 cups (fresh)
- strawberries, quartered: 2 cups (fresh)
- Colby-Monterey Jack cheese, cut into 1/2-cubes: 1 pack (8 ounce pack)
- mayonnaise: 1 cup
- white sugar: 2 Tbsp
- cider vinegar: 1 tsp
- almonds: 0.25 cup (toasted, sliced)

Combine broccoli, strawberries, and Colby-Monterey Jack cheese in a large bowl. Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar together in another bowl until blended; pour over broccoli mixture. Sprinkle almonds over broccoli salad and gently toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, 1 to 2 hours.
