This calico beans casserole is the best! I take it to potlucks, picnics, camping trips, etc.

Ingredients

  • lean ground beef: 1 pound
  • bacon: 0.5 cup (chopped)
  • pork and beans: 1 can (15 ounce can)
  • kidney beans: 1 can (15 ounce can, drained)
  • butter beans: 1 can (15 ounce can)
  • lima beans: 1 can (15 ounce can, drained)
  • packed brown sugar: 1 cup
  • onion: 1 cup (chopped)
  • celery: 0.5 cup (chopped)
  • ketchup: 0.5 cup
  • white wine vinegar: 3 Tbsp
  • mustard powder: 1 tsp

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Cook ground beef and bacon in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain and transfer meat to a 4-quart casserole dish.
