This traditional American dessert is nowadays famous all over the world. It comes in a variety of variations and may involve different ingredients. This time, we offer you the recipe of brownie with caramel topping. The taste and aroma of the dessert will not leave you indifferent!
Ingredients
- dark chocolate 75%: 150 g
- butter: 220 g
- egg: 3 piece
- vanilla sugar: 1 tsp
- flour: 0.5 cup
- salt: 1 pinch
- water: 3 Tbsp
- sugar: 200 g
- toffee: 200 g
- walnuts: 50 g

Melt chocolate and butter in a pot on small fire to get a smooth mixture. Whip eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar, add melted chocolate and walnuts. Mix everything well. Add flour, salt and mix once again. The batter should not be too dense.

Take a baking form, the diameter of which should be 24 cm and butter the bottom of it properly. Dredge with flour, pour half of the batter and place it into the fridge.

Take another small pot, pour water into it and add toffees. Melt everything on small fire. Do not forget to mix it while cooking. That’s how you will get caramel sauce for the topping.

Let the sauce cool down for about 5 minutes. Take the baking form from the fridge and pour caramel above the batter. Place it back into the fridge for half an hour

Take the baking form from the fridge once again and pour the rest of the batter above the caramel topping. Leave for 10 minutes to let the batter warm up a bit. Then put the baking form into the pre-heated to 180 degrees oven for about 35-40 minutes. Enjoy the dessert!
