Stages of cooking
-
Grate carrot, add salt, vegetable oil and sugar. Stir properly and leave for 15 minutes. During this time salt and sugar will melt and carrot will "give" a part of its juice to vegetable oil, so waffles would be bright.
-
Grate orange peel, add turmeric and throw these into a bowl with carrot.
-
Add egg and yogurt. Mix ingredients.
-
Pour semolina into the carrot dough. Now, if you like semolina grains found in waffles, bake it immediately, if no, wait for half an hour and then bake. Add baking powder.
-
Preheat waffle iron. For the first layer of waffles spread vegetable oil on the iron with kitchen brush.
-
Spread the dough, cover the lid and bake until it is golden brown.
-
This is what is called carrot waffles. Enjoy!
