This chicken gumbo soup is a nutritious and delicious recipe!
Ingredients
- water: 8 cups
- garlic powder: 1 tsp
- hot pepper sauce: 1 Tbsp
- carrots, sliced thin: 2 piece
- ounces fresh mushrooms: 4 piece
- frozen okra, thawed and: 1 pack (10 ounce pack, sliced)
- uncooked wild rice: 0.25 cup
- skinless, boneless chicken breast half: 1 piece (cut into cubes)
- ½ cups uncooked rotini pasta: 1 piece
- salt and ground black pepper: (to taste)
- green onions: 3 piece (sliced)

Bring water to a boil. Season with garlic powder and hot pepper sauce. Add in carrots and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add okra, wild rice, and chicken. Reduce the heat to low, and cook for 3 hours.
