This is my most requested recipe! It's a wonderful accompaniment to your Thanksgiving or Christmas menu.

Ingredients

  • cherry-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®): 1 pack (6 ounce pack)
  • ½ cups boiling water: 1 piece
  • whole berry cranberry sauce: 2 cans (14.5 ounce cans)
  • oranges: 2 piece (chopped)
  • apple: 1 cup (diced)
  • walnuts: 1 cup (chopped)

  1. Dissolve cherry gelatin mix in boiling water in a bowl; stir cranberry sauce and oranges into gelatin. Refrigerate until mixture is thickened to the consistency of egg whites, about 45 minutes. Mix apple and walnuts into gelatin, transfer to a serving dish or mold, and chill until firm, about 2 more hours.
