Do you think that it is impossible to cook tasty jam of cucumbers and mint? Does this combination seem weird to you? Then just try cooking this jam and watch the result! It will certainly surprise you!

Ingredients

  • cucumber : 500 g
  • sugar : 200 g
  • mint : 1 bunch
  • pectin : 1 tsp
  • lemon juice : 2 tsp
  • water : 100 ml

Stages of cooking

  1. These are the products you will need from the start. Wash and dry them well.

  2. Cut the cucumbers into pieces, add 150 g of sugar and leave for about 3-4 hours. Chop the mint and pour it with 100 ml of hot boiling water.  Leave for a few hours as well.

  3. Then put the pot with the cucumbers on medium fire and boil it for about 20 minutes until the cucumbers change their color.

     

  4. Blend mint with water well. Mix lemon juice with the rest of sugar (50 g) and add pectin.

     

  5. In 20 minutes, add mint and lemon mixture to the cucumbers. Wait until it boils and keep boiling for about 10 minutes. Let the jam cool down. If you wish, you can add lemon zest.

  6. This is how your cucumber and mint jam should look like! You can enjoy its fantastic taste now!
