Tofu is produced of a different consistency - solid from soy and soft or silk - from eggs. Soft tofu is often called Japanese because of its high popularity in the land of the rising sun. Japanese-style tofu with vegetables is one of the popular dishes. It's prepared quickly and easily and comes out very delicious!

Ingredients

  • tofu : 260 g
  • onion : 100 g
  • carrots : 130 g
  • sweet pepper : 100 g
  • corn starch : 1 Tbsp
  • oil : 2 Tbsp
  • sesame : 10 g

  1. Сut tofu into 2 cm thick slices. Roll each slicein starch.

  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry tofu pieces until it becomes golden brown on both sides.

  4. Put the chopped vegetables in a frying pan, where the tofu was fried. Add the sesame and cook for 5-7 minutes on high heat.

  5. For sauce, mix cold water with starch and soy sauce.

  6. Put fried tofu in a frying pan with vegetables and pour sauce. Mix gently and cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens, for about 2 minutes.
