Egg drop soup is a favorite of mine. After many trips to different Chinese restaurants to enjoy it, I decided to create the ultimate egg drop soup recipe at home. Sesame oil is the key! I hope you like it as much as I do.
Ingredients
- chicken broth: 1 cup
- soy sauce: 0.25 tsp
- sesame oil: 0.25 tsp
- water: 2 tsp (optional)
- cornstarch: 1 tsp (optional)
- egg: 1 piece (beaten)
- drop yellow food coloring: 1 piece (optional)
- ground white pepper: 0.5 tsp (optional)
- salt: 0.125 tsp (optional)
- fresh chives: 1 tsp (chopped)
