French beef stew (Boeuf Miroton) is one of the most delicious dishes of French cuisine, which was first cooked in the 18th century. The world has changed a lot since that time, but the recipe remained the same. It is very tasty, unusual, aromatic and involves simple, but delicious ingredients. Ingredients
- beef: 300 g (boiled)
- broth: 1 cup (beef)
- onion: 2 piece
- butter: 4 Tbsp
- vinegar: 2 Tbsp
- dry bread crumbs: 0.5 cup
- whole-wheat flour: 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice: 2 Tbsp
- parsley: 1 bunch
- salt: 1 tsp

Peel and slice the onion into semi-circles and fry on butter until they become golden.

Dredge with flour, stir and stew for several minutes.

Add beef broth and salt. Then mix and cook until the mixture becomes dense.

Add vinegar and stew on small fie for 15 minutes.

Slice the boiled beef into thin pieces.

Take a baking form and put half of the stewed onion on the bottom of it.

Put the layer of sliced beef above the onion.

Cover the meat layer with the rest of the onion sauce.

Dredge with bread crumbs and pour the rest of melted butter above. Bake in the pre-heated to 200 C (392 F) for about 20 minutes until the golden cover.

Serve warm with chopped parsley and a few drops of lemon juice. Bon appétit!
