This cherry cobbler recipe uses fresh cherries instead of canned. It may take a little longer to make because you need to pit the cherries, but it is well worth it when you taste the finished product.

Ingredients

  • butter: 0.5 cup
  • all-purpose flour: 1 cup
  • ¾ cups white sugar: 1 piece (divided)
  • baking powder: 1 tsp
  • milk: 1 cup
  • pitted sour cherries: 2 cups
  • all-purpose flour: 1 Tbsp
