This fresh mild salsa is excellent with chips for an appetizer or a perfect complement to any Mexican dish. Adjust to personal taste with salt, pepper, and ground cumin. Add 1 additional serrano pepper to make hot salsa and 2 more serrano peppers for a fiery salsa.
Ingredients
- ripe tomatoes: 4 piece (chopped)
- white onion: 0.75 piece (chopped)
- jalapeño pepper: 1 piece (chopped)
- green bell pepper: 0.25 piece (chopped)
- Serrano pepper: 1 piece (chopped)
- fresh cilantro: 2 Tbsp (chopped)
- garlic: 4 clove (minced)
- ground cumin: 1 Tbsp (to taste)
- ½ teaspoons lemon juice: 2 piece
- salt: 2 tsp (to taste)
- ground black pepper: 1 tsp (to taste)
