- oat-flakes : 100 g
- onion : 2 piece
- butter : 75 g (60 g for the dish and 15 g for the sauce)
- thyme : 0.5 tsp (dry)
- salt : 1 pinch
- black pepper : 1 pinch
- minced meat : 300 g
- meat broth : 1 cup
Stages of cooking
Let’s start cooking the dish with the sauce. Peel and chop the onion. Fry it on butter for 2 minutes.
Add minced meat into the frying pan with the onion and keep frying for 8 minutes.
Add salt, pepper, meat broth and stew for 20 minutes more.
While the minced meat is being cooked, peel the second onion and slice it into thin semi-circles. Fry the onion on the butter.
Add oat flakes to the onion.
Add black pepper and thyme.
Mix everything and add salt. Continue frying for 5 minutes, but do not forget to stir the oat flakes.
Take a deep plate or a bowl and place hot fried oatmeal inside.
Pour the oat flakes with the sauce and decorate with basil. Enjoy the dish!
