My friend says that this is the right recipe of German Potato Salad, so I advise to make it strictly according the steps and then decide whether to add something more or not. Let\'s start.
Ingredients
- salt: 1 pinch
- vegetable oil: 4 Tbsp
- apple vinegar: 3 Tbsp
- bulb onion: 1 piece
- cucumber: 2 piece
- potato: 1.5 pound
- black pepper: 1 pinch (per taste)

Wash potatoes properly and peel.

Peeled potatoes slice into thin but big pieces.

Place into a boiled and salt water and boil during 6-7 minutes. Don\'t overdo it, potatoes must be hard enough but not raw.

Place potatoes into a colander and cool.

Grate cucumbers.

Peel bulb onion and chop.

Now mix in a bowl chopped onion and cucumber.

Mix vegetable oil and apple vinegar, whisk little. Instead of this dressing you may use just mayonnaise.

Mix potatoes with onion and cucumber, add salt and black pepper up to yor taste, dress with the sauce and serve. Enjoy the salad!
