This pasta salad with ham is a nice variation from traditional macaroni salad.

Ingredients

  • medium pasta shells: 1 pack (8 ounce pack)
  • frozen peas: 1 pack (10 ounce pack, thawed)
  • cheddar cheese: 1 cup (diced)
  • deli ham: 0.25 pound (diced)
  • onion: 0.25 cup (chopped)
  • mayonnaise: 3 Tbsp
  • vegetable oil: 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice: 1 Tbsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • pepper: 0.25 tsp

  1. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Stir in the shell pasta and cook until tender but firm to the bite, 10 to 11 minutes; drain.

  2. Combine peas, Cheddar, ham, onion, mayonnaise, oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add cooked pasta and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
