Healthy Dinner Recipe - Baked Sweet Pepper with Tuna

If you stuff a sweet pepper with tuna, and then bake in the oven, you will get a tasty and extremely quick option for  lunch or dinner. Moreover the dish is light and healthy. It really worth to prepare.


  • sweet pepper : 500 g
  • olive oil : 1 Tbsp
  • salt : 1 tsp
  • canned tuna : 150 g
  • white bread : 30 g
  • water : 50 ml
  • onion : 50 g

Stages of cooking

  1. Warm up thw oven to 200 degrees. Cut two large sweet peppers in half and take out seeds. Put the halves of the peppers in slices up into a baking dish, sprinkle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Put in the oven for 20 minutes.

  2. A piece of white bread break into 2-3 pieces and put in a bowl. Pour with boiled water at room temperature and leave for 5 minutes.

  3. Chop the half of a medium onion. Heat the frying pan with olive oil and fry the onion for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Mix canned tuna with onion and bread. Add salt and black pepper.

  5. Fill the halves of the peppers with the tuna mass and put to the oven for 15-20 minutes.
