Stages of cooking
-
Take a small pot and mix vinegar, salt, honey and several rosemary springs in it. Stir the ingredients and heat the sauce on medium fire to simmer it well. Then reduce the fire and keep simmering the sauce on low fire until the syrup starts thickening. This will take around 5-10 minutes.
-
Remove from fire and add chopped hazelnuts. While the sauce is simmering, pre-heat the oven to 175 C (350 F). Slice off the top of the brie around it, exposing cheese on one side. Put the brie on the baking paper and bake for about 15 minutes until it becomes soft.
-
As soon as the sauce is ready, take the brie away from the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes. Then transfer it carefully to the serving dish and sprinkle with the hone y vinegar hazelnut sauce. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and serve with sliced tart apples! Enjoy!
