Stages of cooking
-
Prior to cooking the dish, pre-heat the oven to 175 C (350 F). While the oven is heating, take a bowl and mix one tablespoon of olive oil, soy sauce, grated ginger and one pinch of salt in it.
-
Mix salmon with the soy-ginger marinade and leave in a fridge for an hour or so.
-
Meanwhile, take a sheet tray, spread the leeks on it and add one pinch of salt. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Check the leeks every 10 minutes to make sure they are not charred. If you wish, taste the leek, which should be a bit crunchy, but not chewy when it is ready.
-
Take a frying pan, heat it and add the rest of olive oil inside. Then add the salmon and cook it for about 2 minutes. Then turn it onto another side, pour two tablespoons of marinade above and cook for 2 minutes more.
-
Season the dish with salt and pepper to your taste and serve it warm. Bon appétit!
