Japanese style teriyaki sauce/marinade that uses pineapple skins, apples and mirin.
Ingredients
- soy sauce: 3 cups
- ½ cups mirin (Japanese sweet wine): 1 piece
- orange: 1 piece (juiced)
- ounces chopped fresh pineapple with skin: 6 piece
- Granny Smith apple: 1 piece (chopped)
- garlic: 2 clove
- fresh ginger root: 1 tsp (grated)
- white sugar: 4 Tbsp (divided)
