This recipe is a copycat version of KFC gravy.

Ingredients

  • butter: 3 Tbsp (divided)
  • onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • unbleached all-purpose flour: 5 Tbsp
  • ½ cups water: 2 piece
  • beef bouillon: 2 tsp
  • chicken bouillon: 2 tsp
  • black pepper: (to taste, freshly ground)
