This lime jello salad is a great recipe my mom made every year for Thanksgiving making it a family tradition for us — we just gobble it up! It can be made a day or two ahead of time if you like. It looks just beautiful in a glass or crystal bowl.

Ingredients

  • boiling water: 1 cup
  • lime flavored Jell-O® mix: 1 pack (6 ounce pack)
  • pineapple: 1 can (20 ounce can, drained with juice reserved, crushed)
  • cream cheese: 1 pack (8 ounce pack, softened)
  • heavy cream: 2 cups
  • pecans: 1 cup (chopped)
